Cylinder Boring

A thicker head gasket wouldn't make the displacement any larger. Displacement is defined by diameter times stroke. Neither would change with a head gasket. :p

Wait for it....... (he missed this one, eh?)

getting a cylinder re-plated isnt all that expensive i have had both cylinders done in my arctic cat f7 as long as you dont mind being out of a bike for a few weeks!! i think it was 300 per cylinder! but my jugs where separate and i did them at different times! re plating your cylinders is quiet common with snowmobiles!! almost every time you blow a piston you need to re plate! well every time i blow a piston i do!

I don't own an FZ1... I own an FZ998... how do I get my other 2cc's? Should I go with shallower plugs or a thicker head gasket? ;)

It's all in fun... :poke:

Get a thinner head gasket. Doesn't ad to displacement, just gives a bit more compression.
