Woody146? A=1938 Ford Nemo = Dunlop D616, at 1 time a lot of the Custom Builders used them. I got them because they grip on sand and water covered roads like you would not believe. They are discontinued so I have a set of Pirelli Rosso 2s now.

FZ8 Full Fairing? Buy an FZ1 or stated earlier buy the bar conversion for a little more upright riding position. There are clip ons that position you more up right also.

I tried different grips also. Plus get some gloves that have some cushion. I have the Pro Italia Gel Grips they got rid of the numbness I was getting. Thought I was gonna get rid of bars for awhile but did not have to.
