you should get it dyno tuned at a shop. Getting the maps and tuning it yourself makes a difference but dyno tuning it will fine tune the map. It would be so nice to have a built in data logger in these fuel boxes

almost all frame sliders are exchangable from fz8 to fz1 and vice versa. Both bikes have the same frame.

I had it happened to me also. I wouldnt be too concern about it, the F-trip will come on when you have just about a gallon of gas left. When the last fuel bar starts flashing you have about 1.5 gallons left. This is just from my observation.
