leaning on your hands to much by not supporting yourself with your core

+1 This also tends to make you grip tighter, leading to hand numbness. Need to be really, really light on the grips. wiggle your fingers, keep elbows bent and relax the shoulders.

+2. When I pay attention to my posture and tighten up my core a little, I find that I have a lighter grip on the bars and therefore less numbness in my hands.
