Slime or Ride-On

i changed a tire for a customer that had slime. it got all over me & the bed of my truck. i told him that if he wanted me to change his tires in the future, don't put that crap in his tires.

I only ever used Ride-On in my KLR tires which had tubes as I didn't want the technicians to have to deal with the mess. I was sure that then they would not clean off all the water-based grease they used to seat the bead on my new tires. Oh wait, that's what they did when I had my Pilot Road 4s installed on my FZ8 last week.

hey geezer whats up? that water based grease is not and should not be used on the bead & is only used on the very edge of the tire to make installing or removing easier. nomar has a video on you tube that's pretty cool. sounds like the technicians were kinda sloppy.
