I bought this one:
Pro Tek Front Sprocket 525 Pitch Yamaha 2010 2011 2012 FZ8 N NA s SA Fazer 8 15T | eBay
Nice fit, but had to use a hammer (softly) to get it on the splines.
before I put it on i thought putting a 47 sprocket in the back, but now I wont do it. Too much rpm already..
At 120 km/t its about 6000 RPM.
But DAAMN she is strong now, wheelies on the 2 gear is no problems.

not a silly question. yes it is advisable if you like to know what speed you are going. your rpms are unaffected, only your speedo.
i will be going to -1 +2 and this will throw off the speedo signifigantly
