Was my friends dad's and came out like poo, I had to use heat resistant filler to make it look decent

I hit mine with a a grinding wheel and then a polishing wheel on the die-grinder, riveted it back on inside, with a bit of extra time and effort it can look good but if you want 30 mins. of hack work it's gonna look hacked. Not trying to bash anyone either. I had actually ordered a spare stock muffler prior to chopping mine just in case I didn't like it.

Roger that. I spent about 30 mins and hacked is what it looks like so far. I'm gonna spend some time prettying it up tomorrow. Bought a coffmans can with a gold tip for her. Hopefully be here in a few days. I will post pics in a new thread since I've never seen one on an FZ8. Question. We're the rivets enough to pull the sides together with the cap on the inside ? Can you post a pic of the outcome ? Im very interested to see it.
