I love Dire Straights.
IMHO "Alchemy" is one of the top 5 best live albums ever/
However, by the time they crossed the pond, they had lost a lot of what made them great.
I always tell my American friends to check out the first two albums and ignore "Brothers in Arms"
Mark, his brother and Pick Withers were astounding.
