None of the roads around here are straight enough for cruise control. If you are doing long trips on long straight stretches, go for it, saves your wrist from some pain.

I find e-bay very useful, it's not about the price, but the selection. I searched e-bay for motorcycle cruise controls, and there are tons made by the after market, so I was wondering whats best for the FZ8.

best thing ever it just slips on and off, works well and cheap.... they are in Canada but im in usa and it didnt take long

This is a metal version of the plastic one. I think it will be much more durable, it wont slip because of the rubber band. i cant wait to give this a try

If i take the washer out of my right bar end mirror my throttle stays where ever i want it... see. Free cruise control and it doubles as a mirror! Ebays amazing!

I've had the plastic one for over 20000km not showing any signs of wear. And the metal one seems to require a rubber band or something to pinch it on the handle bar. The black plastic one is cheaper and doesn't stand out on the bike. My
