Spikes on a grill

I added some running-shoe spikes to my radiator grill.

I applied Loctite on the thread of the spikes (there is not enough space to install a locking nut, so i chose not to make the thread in the radiator cover, but have the thread of the spike cut in the aluminum instead. + loctite) No way that these spikes are going to fall out

but if your happy that"s all that matters best colour as well!!

I get enough dings and scrapes on my hands when working on the vehicles... I wouldn't want to add one more spot for me to ding my hands/arms/head on like this
