Seat cowl

I'm looking at this seat cowl:

About 185$USD, the Yamaha one is about 225$.Anybody here has it on his bike?

I like it but don't have it. I had the cowl (and no rear pegs) on my R1 and loved it. The issue with the cowl for the FZ8 is the tail is taller and I tend to rub my foot across the passenger seat and scuff it all the time (too tall and old to swing over gracefully).

I have to wonder if any aftermarket cowl will match the overly metallic paint on our bikes. Price is certainly an improvement.

Cowl

I ordered the Yamaha one when i bought my bike a few months ago and it matches the paint and bike perfect, i was very happy with it. But i do already have a scratch in mine from my foot not going high enough.

Yeah boot scratching would certainly be something to concerned about. I do like the back pad on the aftermarket one cause I do sometimes rest against it...
