R1 questions for recent/current owners

So after swapping bike with my friend every so often I've decided I 100% want a super sport and as it stands I'm dead set on the R1, the looks are killer and I known its got the performance... besides the extremely hard seat any problems or concerns I should know about... thinking about one from 07-08 I think its the best looking years and basically has everything the current one has besides the new engine and I would be able to afford one realistically. But if luck allows would love one just like this one below... thanks to vapordan for the image

I hope so too but won't be for a good amount of time, hopefully by then I can pick one of them up in that color on the used market for a good price

I believe the 07s are the lightest year too. At least that's what I've heard

I owned and rode an 04 and 09 R1. Never had a problem with either one of them. In fact, I sold my 04 R1 with just over 50,000 miles on it.
