Finally had a chance to go for a quick spin today after doing my first 1,000km service and after talking about great ocean road thats exactly where i headed to see how she went with the proper oil in it and all. ( i used the yamaha road service kit which came with yamalube 10-40 ) gear box feels much better now. bike seems to run a little cooler and seems a bit peppier than with the run in oil... but any way, heres some pix of todays stop before i headed home.

hit the GREAT OCEAN ROAD today with a mate for a quick squirt. just a couple of pics to give you guys some idea of what the whole 100+ km stretch is like.

virtually all traffic is gone when school goes back. and generally lucky to see 1 car if before 9am =) and even less traffic once you get to lorne and continue to apollo bay.
unless school holidays.

Yeah I've been round tassie on a mini bus with family and stuff, it's epic road riding country.
Not to mention the beer and food is awesome!
