Pit Bull trailer restraint

Does anybody have this system for a FZ1 and also got a FZ8? If not looks like I am going to have to send in my axle and take some measurements for Greg at pitbull.


I was hoping the pins would match up.

Just in case you don't know what I am talking about. I love this system.

The FZ1 and the FZ8 share the same rear axle (P/No. 2D1-25381-00-00).

Therefore, FZ1 Pit Bull axle pins will fit both bikes.

My only concern would be the metal to metal contact between the Pitbull axle pins and the end of my axle.

The axle pin design really needs reviewing, and the inclusion some urethane or rubber to prevent the pins marring the end of the axle. (Yes, I have OCD)

Well that is a start. At least I can tell Greg at pit bull that. Then I can send some measurements to him

The FZ1 and the FZ8 share the same rear axle. That way they can make adjustments and we can have a system to transport our bikes.

Wel just got an email from Greg at Pit Bull. Looks like I am going to be the test subject for pins need for our bikes. We are going to start with the FZ1 pins and start our measurements from there.
