I don't think anyone has run through a break-in yet so it will be a while before those types of numbers are posted. ;) I am just as curious though but I'm not expecting someone to run her to the max in the first 600 miles.

a famous italian magazine called "MOTOCICLISMO" report this:

first number is for the fz8, second is for fz1 (cv means hp, giri means rpm)

0-400m (seconds) : 11,487 10,682
from 0km/h to 50 km/h : 13,466 12,548
top speed (km/h) : 226,4 a 10.300 giri 243,6 a 10.550 giri
weight (kg) : 199,2 kg 201.6 kg
wheel max power : 94,41 cv a 10.000 giri 124,34 cv a 11.500 giri
wheel max torque: 7,38 kgm a 8.000 giri 8,67 kgm a 9.250 giri
tree max power : 103,47cv a 10.000 giri 136,28 cv a 10.500 giri
max torque : 8,08 kgm a 8.000 giri 9,5 kgm a 9.250 giri

this is instrumental measurement, it's important to notice that the cv in the fz8 are all real...

Here are some FZ8 test results from various motorcycle magazines in 2010 and 2011:

HP ET (sec) @ ES (mph) TS (mph) Source / Issue (UK/US)
96.3 12.47 @ 117.4 141.9 Bike / Aug, 2010 (UK)
93 11.93 @ 115.87 141 FastBikes / Sep, 2010 (UK)
95.87 12.05 @ 117.38 141.89 Performance Bikes / Nov, 2010 (UK)
96.38 11.72 @ 121.02 145.65 Motorcycle News (MCN) / May, 2011 (UK)
91.6 11.31 @ 119.7 140 Cycle World / May, 2011 (US)
89.47 11.55 @ 115.71 137.4 Motorcycle Consumer News / May 2011 (US)
91.4 11.23 @ 121.00 n.a. Sport Rider / Oct, 2011 (US)

Interestingly the UK bikes appear to have slightly more horsepower than the US ones, but the US models are clearly quicker in the quarter mile.
