Optional inserts for Vance & Hines CS One muffler?

By chance has anyone here with a Vance & Hines CS One blackout muffler tried any of the optional DB quieting inserts yet ???

It appears they offer multiple inserts in -3DB steps down, but I've not tried one yet on my FZ8. I'm waiting for my CS One slip-on muffler to arrive soon. I'm curious to know how much each step down changes the tone and how many do you you need to step down to to get back to the stock loudness.
I like the option of being able to run loud and quiet on longer trips.

I think they look something like this..., I'm not sure exactly.

Not able to find much online about these yet but did find an older Super Street Bike article that shows various mufflers and how much +DB over stock certain slip-on or full exhaust systems are. Would like to find a more updated article like this with ALL of the systems out today from V&H, Akra, and more. Please forward the link if you know of one more current?
