I just wanted to drop in and introduce myself as a proud new FZ8 owner. I'm a life long Yamaha fan that previously had an R1 before taking a 4 year detour with Ducati (1098). I loved the look and power of the Ducati, but their bikes are unreliable and are the poorest value in the motorcycling world. After 3900 pampered miles, and dealing with a rough running, oil leaking, fuel leaking, and parts failing bike, I was ready to get back onto a bike that I could trust and I knew would provide me with thousands of miles of trouble free riding. Yamaha gets the nod.
I wanted a bike that looks great, was comfortable, and reliable. I think I found it in the FZ8.
I look forward to checking in here and learning and discussing the FZ8 with all of you.
