My exhaust hanger

I just took a piece of 3 mm aluminium cut and shape it to make an exhaust hanger.

After a first try with paint but too easy to scratch, i decided to use a carbon covering on the 2 sides. I've paint the edge in black to hide aluminium color.

I changed screws for shorters ones.

Looks good. You should also wrap the heel guards in that carbon wrap. Will tie in nicely with the hanger and exhaust strap.

I'm not carbon fan when there is no other pieces with it on the bike.

Maybe i will make heel guards in mat black covering.

I just saw that the carbon strips off my hanger are in the wrong way when i see the exhaust clamp...

I forgot to say someting about the shape. The aluminium plate is very slim. It is sentive to bending a little when I push or pull on it. To avoid problem of vibrations with the wind speed, it is slightly turned inwards.
Shape took 1/2 hour, holes were made after.

I modified my hanger.
It's slimer and i recovered it with the strippes in the right way...
