Getting for the season and noticed a missing bolt? Or is this normal?

I always wondered the same thing, but every FZ1 and 8 ive seen do not have the bolt so youre good...

It's a little pathetic that I just installed my brand new, genuine Yamaha, sub-cowl in matching blue and that I have forgotten already..... BUT..... I am almost positive the mounting bracket for the sub-cowl on that side used that hole as one of the mounting points.

Yup...I have the Ermax lower cowls and it uses that hole as the mounting point also. :)
