I'll have to post up pics of my mounts. I made a bracket that comes off the radiator and put a mount on there. If you do it right, you won't even notice it. Mine you can notice because the gopro base fell off on the track and ruined my gopro. Luckily, GoPro is amazing so they sent me a brand new one with all the mounting hardware. But just so it wouldn't happen again, I safety wired and taped the mount on.

I have put it on the rear and suctioned it on the tank. Both had little vibration. I also have mounts on my helmet. So glad I bought the FZ. The last bike I had was a sportster. Didn't matter if I mounted that sucker in the next county it still vibrated on that sucker. I made one short video after I got it. I will find it and post the video.

Sorry for the quality. You can make the bracket a little shorter. Mine is staying there because I don't need to move it.

I use the bicycle mount. I have a Fazer and place the mount on the mirror. Get a little vibration at certain engine speeds but not too bad. Also have the chest mount. Its really smooth, gets the dash in the video.

I've used helmet moutns with the curved adhesive, didn't like because it gets too much helmet.

I got a suction cup mount and put it on the gas tank and on the windshield of my Fz6. Because of the suction cup and the stabilizers in the camera I would say the jostling video wasn't too bad. The other way to help with the jostle effect is to use a higher fps (frames per second). The high fps decreases the amount of pixilation that happens with lower fps when there is a jostle.

I bought the large bar mount, it fits around the fork tubes. I mount it as high as I can so it blends in with the headlight assembly and the fender won't hit it. The video quality is great. I can post some video later.

I haven't been able to get a non shaky video from my HD hero except on my helmet. I have tried the chest strap/handle bars and mounting to the frame.

would be nice to find a way that works without having to mount to my helmet every time.

From my research on the topic there was some mention that the image stabilization equipment in the HD Hero is subpar compared to at least the Hero2 and light years behind the Hero3 Black edition.

I just had the suction cup mount as seen on the previous post/link and got relatively little shake (or at least tolerable).

Here is mine the other day, hd hero 2 shot in 960/48. I used the suction mount on the tank.
