FZ8R, FZ8 SP, FZ8 SP-R

Today was the first time I have ever heard of these different monikers for the FZ8 sold in other countries.

After googling a bit, there has been some discussion of it, late 2011, but before that I had NO idea that these trim levels were existent, but I do like the idea of badging the FZ8 as a FZ8R!

Have you guys ever heard of it?

FZ8R basically got an upgrade shock and Ohlins
FZ8SPR I think is essentially the same, but in France?

That is very cool information to know. I do know that Toyota MR2 in France was changed to MR because MR2 pronunciation in french mean "(it) is shitty". I did wish the bike came stock with the center stand so i didn't have to bother buying it and installing it.

Yep, one of those 2 bikes with the R779 conversion. Worth 112 WHP & 57 Ft.Lb so far... If I can't blow the $$$ for a SF848 later this year I might be the 3rd one...?
