The golden rims are stock.
Its a 2012 fz8 bought here in belgium. (Europe)

It's funny how certian regions/markets get different stock color options. Its like the factories putting out region encoded game consoles. Lol

Is this color scheme not available at the US?
I dont know why yamaha does this. But i guess it all has something to do with marketing.

Only color we got for the fz8 is the gloss black for the 11 and then matte Grey for the 12-13... i painted mine white with Plasti dip, always wanted a blue fz8 but not available here
