FZ1 rear shock

Just curious. For those who have installed a FZ1 rear shock. What pre load and damping setting did you start out with. I weigh about 185#.

I weigh 260
I measured to calculate my sag.
I like about an inch of sag when I sit on the bike. And to get that setting the preload is at the tightest spot and the dampening is one click from the hardest setting.

I installed one in December 2014 and have been experimenting with settings since. I weigh about the same, started with middle settings, and have settled on (from softest settings):

Rebound = 5
Compression = 4.

I will have to look up on how to set the sag. I didn't know the dampening noticeable detents(clicks). I will have get started soon. Still winter here in W. Central Illinois. Thanks.
