Budget Axle crash sliders

Decided to make some rear axle crash sliders!.......

10mm threaded bar, 10mm locknuts, nut covers and a set of cheap £6.00 NYLON skateboard wheels!

No they don't get in the way of the paddock stand.

I'm thinking of doing the same thing...I've got the wheels already and I can get the threaded bar and lock nuts and covers cheap my only question is what length did u cut the bar or do you remember?
