Drill out the inserts 1st!! They are welded in. I used a small drill bit and just kept drilling right next to the previous hole then went back with bigger bit to connect the holes. An POP out came those pesky inner bits. I could finally install my favorite bar end mirrors! No need to replace the H-bars just spend the 45min to do this. You could also now use ANY aftermarket bar end you wish.
