bar end question

I am wanting to purchase some spike bar ends for my 8 but I can't seem to find any that are fz8 specific. I have read on here that the bolt size on ours is M6 1.00 and I believe r1 and r6 are M5 but I looked into it a little and some of the guys on the GSXR forum say that they have the same bolt size. Can anyone verify that because I found a set for a gsxr and if they are M6 1.00 as well I will be ordering them. Thanks

Nevermind guys problem resolved...found out from my old friends on katriders.com that a katana has the same thread pattern M6 1.00 so I ordered a set for a katana so we will see if they work...I'll let you guys know.
