a complete lower ?

hi everyone , has anyone done a complete lower of the front and rear ? the reason i ask is cos i would like to try some clip ons , but i would like to put these at the top of the forks , i`m sure i`ve seen this done on here too , then to complement the front drop , i`d either get a shorter rear shock made to keep the back the same , or the cheaper option of getting a lowering kit ?

My bike is lowered 2.5" in the rear and 1" in the front.
Without risers or clip-ons you won't be able to go any lower with stock bars.
