2013 fz8 device mount

Hey guys just recently bought a device holder for my bike but it apparently wasn't what I was expecting. Looks like I need a mounting kit for it as well which I didn't realize when I bought it. Do any of you guys have device mounting kits that don't require a windshield? If so, where did you get it? Or maybe help me out woth finding a good mount for the one I bought. I recently got the ram mount handlebar kit with the short arm and the iphone 6 specific clip. I've only been out with it a couple times but it was really adjustable and seems to be really stable. So far I'm really satisfied with it. Got it on amazon and saved a couple bucks from the ram website and also got the prime shipping. Just have to make sure you order all the pieces, only got two at first then realized and had to wait another two days.
