I've noticed that with mine also. Slow speed jerkyness at times. I've just gotten use to it. If there's a fix Im all ears.

I've been using castrol GTX 20/50 car oil since 1993 in all my bikes. Never have had any shifting or clutch problems. ( I change it every 3k)

Got a question about the rearsets you installed. I know the stock ones are rubber mounted for vibration. The reason I ask is last bike that I had, had rubber pegs, I replace with solid ones and had a problem with my feet falling asleep after 1 hour.

The noise sounds like the clutch throw out bearing. If your bike is still under warranty I would take it in and at least get it documented. I would also get the extended warranty. Make sure it's a "Yamaha service contract" and not a 2nd party garbage one.

I ended up putting on the gold chain. Looks sweet without the chain guard.

This is my "poor man exhaust"...... Sounds ok.

I've been working on Yamaha's for over 25 years and never had a throtle body get sticky. Might wanta check the throtle cables.
