so as of today my bike is as done as i can afford to make it. holding out for a lottery win to get a power commander.

ais system removed (ebay smog plates)
k&n air filter
airbox mod
heel kick plates removed
passenger seat strap removed
gold cnc grips
black shorty levers
oes frame sliders
oes swingarm spools

pretty sure that's everything.
 
Agreed a pic of the final results would be great :) I might still your black handlebars idea, I've been putting it off since I got the bike hehe

All bikes do look better without the chain guard, but in 1000 miles you may be regreating that choice. :)

Painting my bars is on the to do list.

Yes and no.

I pulled my chain guard off a long time ago. Looks great and if you do not over lube your chain, and only wax it when it's hot...No probs.
The only issue I have is I have to be sure not to wear my baggy cargo pants when I ride. They get a little close for comfort :D
 
lothodon is a good seller---I got my tail tidy from him.
 
Glad to see your bike coming along Loth. Its looking great.

Still waiting for my leg to heal before buying another FZ8. Scary its almost been a year since my accident.

Glad to see some familiar posters still on the forum.
