Thicker Head Gasket

I am looking to get more power out of my motor. Thinking about adding a thicker head gasket. Has anyone else done this? Advice and suggestions are appreciated.

You need a thinner head gasket to raise compression. Then you would probably have to run race gas.

If you up your compression, you NEED to tune it... Also, as an example, the R1 (2009-2014) needs to have an aftermarket radiator after upping the compression because the bike runs so much hotter....

I just love my FZ8. Trying to build it and max it out before i retire it and get an fz1.
