Introducing the Marthy FZ1 Midship Exhaust!

So, I have always disliked the slip-on exhaust style of the FZ1, so I knew at some point I would want to change it. I asked Marthy if he could make a midship exhaust like the FZ6R, or his newly designed FZ8 exhaust. My challenge was making it work with the center stand. I feel that Marthy could have made it work had I chosen a different can, the one that I picked is a little bigger since it is the tri-oval. So unfortunately, I had to lose my centerstand, but the results make it really hard to be upset about it. Check it out:

Yes, but I was picking based on what I thought I would like the look of best. Damn.

I can't say as he said he gave me a discount. Plus I am not sure of all of his prices anyway. Best thing to do is check with him.

Holy moly!! I rode to work yesterday, and got some time with the new exhaust. When you roll on the throttle, it sounds sooooo mean. Since I have done a bunch of mods, the FZ1 is a much different bike. Definitely worth the upgrade. Marthy can really make an awesome exhaust. Thanks Marthy!!!
