It's private property. End of story. Public property, different set of rules entirely. Glory should fly/flap. Use to live in Denton by the way, nice place.

yeah, it chafes. I would have at least let it stay for the rest of the day and took it down at nightfall since it needs to be lit up with light if it flies after sundown.

me personally it comes down to what he said. "i am patriotic" but yet you take a donated flag down immediately after someone else gets it and puts it up for you. all they had to do was take it down. i got tired of taking mine down so i now have lights.

I'd like to see it fly as my Grandpa and dad served in the military plus my brother and sister are now serving. But the TA owner has the right not to fly it if he so decides...He could make things a lot easier if he would just take the flag pole down. He sounds like a cheapass who doesn't want to pay for replacement flags or the electricity to light it up at night.
