nice! how does that windscreen work for you? does it do a decent job of keeping the air off?

Hi

This Windscreen works quite well.
You can reach 180km/h almost wihtout any side effect of air resistance on the helmet or on top of the body.
Without it, riding at 180km/h, it's a hell of muscule exercice on your arms and neck.

I've made some experiences reaching 200km/h with the body against the fuel tank, and you only hear the tourbulence sound..

It is usefull also against rain and cold.

You can find it here (Givi model A287):

Cases, Side Hardbags, Soft Luggages, Screens, Spoilers YAMAHA FZ8 / Fazer 8 800

Here it is on my bike:

Hi,

Regarding is size, this windscreen works quite well.
You can push it to 180km/h, with minor wind/air resistence side effects, on your body and helmet. For that, you have to help with your body position, but nothing radical.. (i'm 1,73m height). If i lean the head 2cm forward and down, i dont have wind interference anymore.

I've reached 200km/h, leaned over the gas tank, only with the air turbulence noise... (and i use a modular hemlet (shoei multitec).

On speeds up to 140km/h, It's effective against bad weather.. rain, and wind gusts.

Yesterday i've uninstalled it temporarelly, and try to reach 180km/h.. and it's very, very unconfortable... and dangerous.

The windscreen gives you better stability on the body and bike.

My windscreen it's a Givi A287 model.
My first windscreen was a Barracuda (better looks), but was not very effective, and produced many vibrations and noises.

The Givi is perfect. And the design fits on the fz8 lines.

Regards,

Tiago
