It was the easiest oil change I've done. I have a torque wrench which I used based on manufacturer specs. And yes, i did change my username. How'd you notice?

So I just changed my oil and filter.(Rotella T6 with K&N Filter) I gotta say after a 70 miles ride, so far so good. No clutch slippage, no leakage, smoother shifting, and happier sounding engine. It did feel like it had more power...maybe its in my head. Anyways just wanted to let you guys know...

If so, what kind? Also, can you just put an aftermarket exhaust without taking the catalytic converter off? Is an aftermarket exhaust bad for the bike in any way? If so, what kind of modifications are needed to fix the problem?

Also, I am reading in some post that you can use WD-40 and a toothbrush to loosen up the rust. When you are done cleaning the rust, make sure the chain is lubed really well(the whole chain) to prevent it from rusting again.

Agreed. Just get a nice cotton towel with some good chain lube and keep wiping until it starts coming off. It doesn't look major as long as you get it off as soon as you can. Then make sure you lube it really well afterwards. Got this from another website... "there are a couple of ways to...
