man I was reading your reply to that question about the stripes and wanted to ask you: did you also remove the stripes on the sides of the seat? Those parts are plastic, I'm concerned cleaning up the left over glue with goof off might mess up the finish. What do you think?

I've got the same bike and it looks to me like a sticker that could be peeled off. Problem is, you will also remove the grey stripe and the FZ8 logo, it's all one piece. Keep me posted if you decide to remove it!

congrats on your new FZ8 man, I got the exact same one brand new 3 months ago and enjoy every minute I spend on it! What do you guys recommend for a fender eliminator for my new FZ8? Wanna get rid of this ugly thing that comes with it... Also, being in California, are there any requirements in terms of what's legal or not?
