The temp gauge will go up as high as around 216 before it starts cooling off when sitting in traffic on hot days, but I've never heard of anyone complaining of unbearable heat on their legs from the engine. That's a new one.

I had mine fall over in the driveway while I was locking the front door. It was facing SLIGHTLY downhill and it was running. I guess it just walked off the kickstand.

What ever the stealership puts in it. The techs there seem to know what the hell they're doing. I defer to them (specifically my tech) for bike wisdom.

When I ordered it, I got it in 4 days. The turn-around was commendable. I don't use the back seat anymore, (the girly doesn't care about the moto) but the front seat is much grippier and more comfortable. And, the looks are fantastic.

The risks we take.... That guy was good. Did it sound like the engine started misfiring after riding through that? Or was that just because it was a twin. Either way: scary. I am impressed that he didn't end up UNDER that puddle.

Honestly, I worked at the Chrysler dealership down here and that was the most reliable car in the lineup. We never really had to do any major repairs on them unless they were overheated due to loss of coolant (usually a leaking radiator). I hate them, but they do last, if properly maintained.
