I experience the same sort of thing. I don't think it's a misfire, feels like throttle/valve timing. It's not major but it can be a little unnerving. I just plan to have the techs look into it when the valves are adjusted at 4000 miles (1800 more miles for me).

I've seen video of a guy on a GSXR hitting a deer in exactly the same fashion except at probably 60+ mph, and he kept it up too, no obvious damage to the bike. There was obvious damage to the deer though. I hope it had good insurance.

I have been running 93 which is the highest they offer here through break in and now to 1500 miles, but I will use the lowest octane fuel that doesn't give me problems after my next oil change. I don't use 10 gasohol though, even tho I do in my car. Just being cautious.
