Have you tried calling wreckers/salvage yards? Might be able to find one off an R1 or FZ6 FZ1?

How was your comfort level going cross country? With the shad seat i was really comfortable doing 2500km in 4 days. Im wondering if i could endure a month of it. Not sure if anyone else would agree but heated grips are a must for touring and i have been happy with my heat deamons for 2 years now.
Oh not this time. I bought the tar remover and tried gas and mineral spirits. The shit was baked on good. To boot, when I wiped it off the top of my fenders they got scratched up pretty bad. Up to that point i took pride in keeping my bike immaculate.
