Exactly. The 8L Cortech is a good fit on a FZ8. I never tried the older model but this one does not move around.

I recall something about a slight change to the fuel mapping for a small improvement, but for those who run altered/upgraded ECUs or aftermarket controllers it's an even better improvement with the right map.

While adding mirrors that actually work well, I re-used my factory bar ends for functional purposes. The factory Yamaha Bar ends are pretty good. They are heavier than most, and they work much better to reduce vibration than cheap lightweight ends. I'd like to machine up even heavier ones...

Hey...maybe that's why I like the FZ8 so much. I even put dirt bike style handlebars on mine. :)
